This beautiful card from Italy is a response to my Mail Art Call for Autumn-themed Etegami. The words are an old Piemontese proverb (a dialect of Italy): Bosch d' pùnta e fùmna d' piat a sustenu mes un stat, which means something like "Straight wood and lying women support half a country."

From an artist who has created a whole world of imaginary bugs, came this print of an adorable, winged, six-pawed, two-horned creature named B.Randy. This is the first time I've seen a card done on the back of a cookie box. I'm inspired to try it with Etegami.

The first non-etegami mail art I ever received was this laminated sheet of Ukrainian postage stamps with a colorful collage-style illustration pasted over it. It was an eye-opening first encounter with the global world of mail artists, and the beginning of a new adventure for me.
