One thing (among many things) that I appreciate about Megan's mailart is that she always adds personal news and asks about my life, so I feel as though I get to know her better with each exchange. Here is another one of her lovely collages. Thanks, Megan!
Ahmet sent me four envelopes that, when placed together just right, make this gorgeous image of a horned owl. Each envelope comes with a canceled Turkish postage stamp. The photo doesn't do it justice because the envelopes wouldn't quite fit on my scanner, but it's awesome. Thanks, Ahmet!

Woot! At last I have one of my very own pieces of the colorful art of Bifidus Jones. The phonetic symbols on the small circular name seal appear to spell out the word "rats," and it's upside down on both sides of the card. I wonder what significance that has... (Bifidus? Give me a hint.)

This etegami-style mailart, which Yun drew as part of a "Fete des Roses" series seems to have been painted on a thin sheet of washi and then glued to the card. It has a very nice texture. The name seal in the shape of a butterfly adds extra charm. Thanks, Yun!

I received this card in reply to an etegami I sent to the author of the postcard collection I blogged about on my etegami blog last month. Kimono fabric is pasted onto the right and left edges of the card with the message (written with a writing brush) sandwiched in between.
