bifidus jones (usa)

Woot! At last I have one of my very own pieces of the colorful art of Bifidus Jones. The phonetic symbols on the small circular name seal appear to spell out the word "rats," and it's upside down on both sides of the card. I wonder what significance that has... (Bifidus? Give me a hint.)

heike sackmann (germany)

First time submitter to this blog! Heike sent me this etegami-style card for my food-themed mailart call. Complete with her own name seal. Thanks Heike!

david berube (usa)

The last of the Berube Bugs series (maybe). As you saw in a previous post, David has already started his new Alphabet series, and you KNOW that whatever David sets his hand too, it's sure to be a hit.

yun (france)

This etegami-style mailart, which Yun drew as part of a "Fete des Roses" series seems to have been painted on a thin sheet of washi and then glued to the card. It has a very nice texture. The name seal in the shape of a butterfly adds extra charm. Thanks, Yun!

atsuko kimura (japan)

I received this card in reply to an etegami I sent to the author of the postcard collection I blogged about on my etegami blog last month. Kimono fabric is pasted onto the right and left edges of the card with the message (written with a writing brush) sandwiched in between.

david berube (usa)

An enchanting print from David's new alphabet series. A Is for Aardvark. They used to dig holes in my grandmother's back yard. : )
