A postcard and documentation from the Otto von Bismark mail art call exhibited at the Museum Bismark in Bad Kissingen. The documentation is a lovely, high-quality catalog of mailart received and displayed during the exhibition. Thanks, Roland!

A rabbit collage with a slightly oriental feel for my rabbit mail art call! Thank you, Art. : )

Little plastic forks form this rabbit's ears. The card says "Bunny says: Watch out what you eat!"

Mystery creature outlined in black stitching on white fabric, which is itself stitched to a thick card. On the back, Angela announces a mailart call on the topic: Pfeifenkoppe, "a being with a trill whistle in the mouth." Very intriguing.

First time submitter to this blog! Heike sent me this etegami-style card for my food-themed mailart call. Complete with her own name seal. Thanks Heike!

An invitation to participate in the "Otto von Bismarck" call arrived from Roland in Germany. The artwork is by Servane Morel (Belgium). You can find more of Servane's work, as well as a piece from Roland, among the earlier posts on this blog. Take a look at the pieces that have already been sent in to this mail art call. http://bismarck-mail-art.blogspot.com

This luscious food-themed card comes with the wonderful saying: "Life is uncertain Eat dessert first." The fresh fruit and rich cake look so delicious, I could almost lick the card. The image at the bottom is the clever and humorous documentation Patrizia sent out to all who participated in her "Bubbles" mail art call. Thanks, Patrizia!

Eva's submission to the food-themed mailart call is a photograph of a salad accompanied by a "Schleich" rabbit, which she says she's had since childhood. Thanks, Eva!

O.o Yummy! Art's second submission to the food/recipe mailart call shows two of my favorite seafood items: salmon roe and tataki-style fresh fish (tuna or bonito?). And I just love the deep blue of the background.

This is a submission to my Food/Recipe MailArt Call. I'm not sure what the purple stuff in the cup is, but I do love shrimp and apples! And I love the colors on this card too. : )

The countless tiny dots that fill the background of this cool ink drawing of a woman's (?) head must have taken ages to draw. Unfortunately, the drawing was smeared when it arrived, apparently due to snow that had gotten into my mail box. What a pity.

Roland sent me this interesting remnant of one of his former mailart calls. The cow on a plate is a sticker that seems to have been added just for me. A submission to my Food/Recipe mail art call, perhaps? If so, it is a clever touch. : )
