katerina nikoltsou (greece)

From Katerina: a bright blue card pasted with hand-torn strips of (washi?) paper painted in soothing shades of blue and purple. Mmmmm, I love it.

Katerina sent me some rabbit mailart done in a technique I've never heard of before: Sandpaper Collage with Tape Transfer! She calls it SandPo (Sand Poetry). It is both visually and tactile-y intriguing.

Bunny collage with a real cotton ball for a tail from Katerina. I think I will consider this card the very first submission to my new Rabbit-themed mailart call! :D

Title: "sea pebbles" from Katerina, who says her work is always in a flux, always changing. Me too, Katerina. Me too.

What a delight to hear from Katerina again! This time she sent me two pieces of mailart. They are titled: "Tomatoes and Olives and Olives" and "End of Winter."

Wow. This is a pretty impressive array of hearts! Who could ask for more on Valentine's Day? Thanks for "spreading the love," Katerina!

Here are two submissions for my Food/Recipe mailart call. Katerina painted them (water color?) on two blank washi cards I had sent to her earlier to show her what I use. Since she chose to send them to me in an envelope, she used all the room on the backs for writing the recipes.
